Top 10 Books I Read in 2025
Twenty-twenty-five was a year of change for me and my family, but as always it was filled with books. I read a number of children’s books this year and one of them made it into this Top 10 list. I moved with my husband from Washington to Utah to live closer to family. With this move, I said goodbye to my friends and my book club in Washington. However, I am happy to have found new friends and a new book club in Utah. Here are my favorite reads of this past year.
- The Book of Lost Hours by Hayley Gelfuso
- As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow by Zoulfa Katough
- The Story Keeper by Lisa Wingate
- Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tann
- Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger
- Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales by Heather Fawcett
- A Fall of Marigolds by Susan Meissner
- Olivetti by Allie Millington
- This House is Haunted by John Boyne
- Mrs. Lincoln’s Dress Maker by Jennifer Chiaverini
